Post image for New Thesis Skins

I thought I’d keep everyone updated here about my latest Thesis skins, as that’s what most people end up here for anyways. So read on about my latest skins and a sweet coupon code!

ThesisFolio is my latest skin and I have to say I’m pretty proud of it.  The new skin comes standard with new templates for both a custom homepage and custom portfolio pages, which allows you to create a great site in a matter of minutes. The new featured area provides the ability to showcase your portfolio items or blog posts along a big “sell” area for your services/products. The design is also rock solid and very appealing. Twelve themes and a colour picker give you unlimited options for design. The skin is meant for companies or individuals looking for a way to showcase their skills or products. View more info and the demo here.

Use coupon 5957E65135 and get $10 off ThesisFolio. Snag it quick though, as it’ll expire after the first 10 purchases!

ThesisPlay has been out for a while (on version 1.1 at time of typing) but I never officially announced it here. I still dig it, and of course it’s still being supported and updated continually. ThesisPlay is for people who are looking for something far from the conventional Thesis look. Hours were put into changing even the smallest detail to get a totally new, unique Thesis look unlike any other skin out there. It’s a great skin for people looking for a content-driven, social site. Check out all the details here.

Use coupon CCDE12 and get 20% off of ThesisPlay. This one doesn’t expire!

Great!! New skins! I’ve been eagerly waiting for another great skin after Thesis Play.

Good work on the Thesis Folio!

A coupon code for Thesis Play could have been a plus though.. 🙁

Hi Matt:

I’m new to Wordpress and downloaded Thesis in hopes it would simplify things. When I saw that i would need to create my blog I got a refund. Now I see Thesis folio and have hope that there might be an easy way for non tech guys like me. I am trying to create a blog that for the most part posts articles and has the ability to have opt-in boxes where the picture are for the most part. If I was to purchase Thesis again, and purchase folio … would I get something that looks like your site without a lot of programming? If so, I would like to do that tomorrow.
Thanks Bob West 949-632-5679

Well as the site is right now, I didn’t do any programming beyond setting up ThesisFolio.

Adding opt-in boxes will of course require some messing around, but there’s an options panel where you can drop code (into the featured header area).

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thesis Folio is pretty smooth.

These themes are great for people that want all the awesomeness that Thesis brings, but can’t deal with the blank slate it presents out of the box.

Again, nice work.

I like the clean look and integration of a header image for the skin. Feels very web 2.0

I am using ThesisFolio to design a site. Everything is going great so far and I think it looks good. But I have a few questions.

1. How do I set the options for the another page to be the static home page like you have on the demo site. It looks like the blog is set to be the home page.

2. How do I get the thumbnails to show up in the sidebars for pages and or blog post? It is not the recent post widget.

Is there an user manual or documentation to help me figure out some of these things?

2. I’m not sure what you mean by that one, I’ll need more info.

You should be putting in your support requests at

There’s also documentation included or at that site I just linked.
